Review / Synopsis:

The Great War & The Shaping Of The 20th Century.

This mini television series shows the truth behind the horrors of the world at war, and how it affected milions world-wide.

A sad and harrowing set of accounts, make the sandness of such an epic proportion hard to comprehend, however, during the film, some small ray of light in human nature is displayed in such a calm and unnerving manner, that it manages to leave the viewer with a truly huge sense of hope and inspiration.

The narration of the series is covered by a host of stars, including Helena Bonham-Carter, Ned Beatty, Jeromy Irons, Rupert Graves, Helen Mirren, and Michael York.
