Review / Synopsis. top_right

To Let continues the powerful story of The Forsyte Saga - To Let, a bitter legacy of power, money, love and betrayal.

It is twenty years since Queen Victoria died and while Soames Forsyte struggles with the spirit of social revoloution following WW1, his daughter Fleur is falling in love. With no knowledge of the feud that has split the Forsyte family for the past two decades, Fleur is determined that nothing will stand in the way of her love for Jon.

But the acrimony between Soames and Irene has not faded with the years, and it is not long before the shadows of the past fall darkly upon the present, with tragic consequences.

Charting the Forsyte dynasty from a thriving existence at the height of the Edwardian era through turbulent transition into the modern age, the Forsyte Sga paints a fascinating picture of early twentieth century London life.

Protected from the realities of social turmoil through their class and wealth, the Forsyte family's survival is equally threatened by it's own greed, jealousy and vain passions.

Damien Lewis as Soames, Rupert Graves as Jolyon, Gina McKee as Irene.
Emma Griffiths Malin as Fleur, Michal Maloney as Profond, and Gillian Kearney as June.
Beatriz Batarda as Annette, Oliver Milburn as Michael Mont, and Amanda Root as Winifred.
